A solution of iso-propylmagnesium chloride (2M in tetrahydrofuran, 0.5 mL) was added to a stirred mixture of N-cyclopropyl-4-methyl-3-(2-oxo-3-phenoxy-1(2H)-pyrazinyl)-benzamide (Example 116, 45 mg), benzylthiol (0.2 mL) and tetrahydrofuran (0.5 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 36 h. Solid NH4Cl and water were added and the mixture extracted into ethyl acetate. The organic phase was dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated in vacuo. Purification by preparative HPLC (Gemini column, 0.1% ammonia:acetonitrile eluent) afforded the title compound as a solid (8 mg).
