A solution of Dess-Martin Periodinane (0.911 g) in DCM (8 mL) was added dropwise to a solution of N-cyclopropyl-3-fluoro-5-[3-{[(1R,2R)-3-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenylpropyl]amino}-2-oxopyrazin-1(2H)-yl]-4-methylbenzamide (Example 328d, 0.64 g) in DCM (8 mL) at 22° C. The resulting mixture was stirred at 22° C. for 30 min. The reaction mixture was quenched with sat. aqueous Na2S2O3 and sat. aqeuous NaHCO3 and stirred for a further 15 min and then extracted into DCM. The organic extracts were combined, dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo to give the subtitle compound as a solid (0.6 g).
