416 mg of 1-(2-benzyloxyphenyl)-4-fluoro-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol was dissolved in 16 ml of methanol, and 42.6 mg of 10% palladium/carbon was added and stirred under hydrogen atmosphere at room temperature for a whole day and night. After the insoluble matter was filtered off, the filtrate was distilled off under reduced pressure and the resulting residue was purified using silica gel column chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=5:1) to yield 290 mg of the title compound.
