Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2,5-difluoro-4-{[(1R*,2R*)-2-phenylcyclohexyl]oxy}-N-(1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)benzenesulfonamide (53.0 mg, 0.088 mmol) prepared in Example 3a, triethylsilane (0.10 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (1.0 mL) and dichloromethane (1.0 mL), to yield the title compound (44.6 mg, 99%) as a colorless solid.
