Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1a by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2,4,5-trifluoro-N-(1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)benzenesulfonamide (WO 2010/079443; 600 mg, 1.35 mmol), (1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclohexanol (240 mg, 1.33 mmol) prepared in Example 4a, sodium hydride (63%; 100 mg, 2.63 mmol) and DMSO (6.0 mL), to yield the title compound (340 mg, 42%) as a colorless solid.
