Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2,5-difluoro-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cycloheptyl]oxy}-N-(1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)benzenesulfonamide (146 mg, 0.236 mmol) prepared in Example 9b, triethylsilane (0.3 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (3.0 mL) and dichloromethane (3.0 mL), to yield the title compound (86.0 mg, 78%) as a colorless solid.
