Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the tert-butyl[(5-chloro-2-fluoro-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclohexyl]oxy}phenyl)sulfonyl](1,3-thiazol-4-yl)carbamic acid (367 mg, 0.643 mmol) prepared in Example 10a, trifluoroacetic acid (1.0 mL) and dichloromethane (1.0 mL), to yield the title compound (304 mg, 99%) as a colorless solid.
