Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-ethyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclopentyl]oxy}-2,6-difluoro-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (231 mg, 0.385 mmol) prepared in Example 50a, triethylsilane (0.20 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (2.0 mL) and dichloromethane (2.0 mL), to yield the title compound (151 mg, 87%) as a colorless amorphous solid.
