Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-3-methyl-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclopentyl]oxy}-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (356 mg, 0.632 mmol) prepared in Example 52b, triethylsilane (0.20 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (1.0 mL) and dichloromethane (4.0 mL), to yield the title compound (202 mg, 68%) as a colorless solid.
