Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using 3-cyano-N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cycloheptyl]oxy}-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (195 mg, 0.32 mmol) prepared in Example 55a, triethylsilane (0.10 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (1.0 mL) and dichloromethane (4.0 mL), to yield the title compound (102 mg, 70%) as a colorless solid.
