Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-3-methyl-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cycloheptyl]oxy}-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (182 mg, 0.31 mmol) prepared in Example 57a, triethylsilane (0.15 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (1.0 mL) and dichloromethane (1.0 mL), to yield the title compound (100 mg, 74%) as a colorless solid.
