Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the 5-chloro-N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2-fluoro-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cycloheptyl]oxy}-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (202 mg, 0.32 mmol) prepared in Example 60a, triethylsilane (0.10 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (0.5 mL) and dichloromethane (2.0 mL), to yield the title compound (135 mg, 88%) as a colorless solid.
