Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2,6-difluoro-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cycloheptyl]oxy}-N-(pyrimidin-4-yl)benzenesulfonamide (0.14 g, 0.23 mmol) prepared in Example 63a, triethylsilane (0.15 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (2.0 mL) and dichloromethane (2.0 mL), to yield the title compound (60 mg, 40%) as a colorless solid.
