Reaction Steps

The reaction and aftertreatment were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1b by using the 5-chloro-N-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-2-fluoro-4-{[(1S*,2R*)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)cyclopentyl]oxy}-N-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide (0.377 g, 0.620 mmol) prepared in Example 87a, triethylsilane (0.50 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (5.0 mL) and dichloromethane (5.0 mL), to yield the title compound (0.212 g, 75%) as a colorless solid.
