Reaction Steps

The 5-[(1R*,2S*)-2-(benzyloxy)cyclopentyl]-1H-pyrazole prepared in Example 148b was optically resolved with CHIRALPAK AD-H (Daicel Corp.; hexane/isopropanol=9:1) to yield the title compound as a pale yellow oil.
