Reaction Steps
Sonogashira reaction of 25 with 3-methylhex-1-yn-3-ol yielded 2,2,2-trifluoro-N-(3-hydroxy-3-(3-(3-hydroxy-3-methylhex-1-ynyl)phenyl)propyl)acetamide as dark brown oil. Yield (0.611 g, 55%): 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.41 (s, 1H), 7.24-7.37 (m, 3H), 4.86 (m, 1H), 3.67-3.72 (m, 1H), 3.38-3.44 (m, 1H), 2.32 (bs, 1H), 1.94-2.01 (m, 3H), 1.71-1.76 (m, 2H), 1.59-1.62 (m, 1H), 1.53 (s, 3H), 0.99 (t, J=7.2, 3H).
