1-[2-[3-(3,4-Dichloro-phenyl)-1-(3,4,5-trimethoxy-benzoyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl1-ethyl]-4-phenyl-piperidine-4-carboxylic acid amide (4.13 g, 6.45 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (20 mL) and treated with a solution of dichloromethane saturated with HCl(g) (20 mL). The solution was allowed to stir for 1 h. The solution was concentrated in vacuo to obtain a residue. The residue was dried under high vacuum at 56° C. for 18 h to give the title compound:
