Reaction Steps
1-Ethyl-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepine from Example 23A (1.7 g, 8.94 mmol) was reduced with lithium aluminium hydride according to the procedure in Example 15A; yield 1.55 g (98%).
