Reaction Steps
306 g of hexamethylol melamine, 148 g of phthalic anhydride and 5 L of water were placed into the a flask provided with a stirrer and a reflux tube, and were continuously refluxed-for 5 hours to form a crystal, which was then filtered out and dried to obtain hexamethylol melamine phthalate.
