Procedure
Sodium hydroxide (2 N, aq., 1 mL) was added to a solution of the title compound of Example 78 (79 mg, 0.18 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) and the resultant mixture stirred at room temperature for 19 h, concentrated in vacuo and the residue dissolved in water (20 mL). After washing with dichloromethane (20 mL), the aqueous phase was acidified to pH 2-3 with 2 M HCl and the resultant white precipitate removed by filtration and dried to afford the title compound (58 mg, 0.14 mmol).
