A solution of the title compound from example 12 (50 mg, 0.11 mmol) in ethanol (10 ml) was charged with 10% Pd on carbon (15 mg) and stirred at room temperature for 6 h under 60 psi of hydrogen. After removal of the catalyst by filtration, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and purified by column chromatography (eluting with methylene chloride to 98:2 methylene chloride:methanol) to afford the title compound as a white solid after precipitation from diethyl ether (15 mg, 0.03 mmol).
