Methylmagnesium bromide (3.0M solution in ether, 1.1 eq) is added to a 0.4M solution of Compound 23 in ether (1.0 eq) at 0° C. The reaction is stirred at 0° C. for 1 hour, then warmed to 20° C. for an additional hour, and poured into 5 volumes of 1M citric acid solution. The resulting solution is extracted with ether (2×), washed with brine, dried over anhydrous MgSO4, and concentrated in vacuo. The residue is purified by chromatography on silica gel (Hex/EtOAc) to yield Compound 24.
