As described for Example 9, 0.471 g (1.5 mmol) of 5-(4-aminobenzoyl)-6,11-dihydro-5H-dibenz[b,e]azepine is reacted with 0.303 g (1.8 mmol) of 2,5-dimethylbenzoyl chloride in 10 ml of dichloromethane. The product is recrystallized from dichloromethane-hexane to give 0.43 g of crystals, m.p. 213°-216° C. Anal. Calc'd for C30H26N2O2 : C,80.7; H,5.9; N,6.3. Found: C,80.0; H,5.9; N,6.1.
