Procedure

The compound 1,2-bis-(4-cyanophenoxy)-3-fluoro-benzene was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 1 by reacting 4-fluorobenzonitrile with 1,2-dihydroxy-3-fluorobenzonitrile. The product was recrystallized from ethanol/water (4:1). The yield was 89.4% of the title compound with the formula: ##STR8##
