A solution of 0.3 mmol of the compound prepared in Example 77 in 15 mL of 1N sodium hydroxide was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solution was washed with ether and then acidified to pH 2.0 with 6N hydrochloric acid. The solution was extracted with ethyl acetate, and the extract was washed with brine, dried over magnesium sulfate, and concentrated to give the title compound (m.p. 99°-101° C.). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 0.80 (m, 6 H), 0.95 (m, 1 H), 1.15 (m, 1 H), 1.43 (m, 1 H), 1.91 (m, 2 H), 3.4 (2 H+H2O), 6.05 (d, 1 H), 6.85 (bt, 1 H), 7.03 (t, 1 H), 7.42 (m, 5 H), 7.79 (dd, 1 H).
