As described for Example 9, 0.942 g (3 mmol) of 5-(4-aminobenzoyl)-6,11-dihydro-5H-dibenz[b,e]azepine is reacted with 0.52 g (3.3 mmol) of 2-methylbenzoyl chloride in 20 ml of dichloromethane. The product is triturated with hexane-ethyl acetate to give 1.0 g of yellow crystals, m.p. 198°-203° C.
