Reaction Steps
A solution of 2(S)-benzyloxycarbonylamino-3-aminopropionoic acid (2.4 g) in methanol at 0° C. was saturated with HCl gas. After stirring for 2 h at 20° C. the solution was evaporated to obtain the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) δ7.35 (5H, m), 5.13 (2H, s), 4.50 (1H, m), 3.77 (3H, s), 3.45 (1H, m), 3.22 (1H, m).
