Reaction Steps
7-[2-(2-Formamidothiazol-4-yl)-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxyimino)acetamido]-3-chloro-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 0.7 g.), conc.hydrochloric acid (0.43 ml.) and methanol (B 16 ml.) were treated in a similar manner to that of Example 21-(3) to give 7-[2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxyimino)acetamido]-3-chloro-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 0.65 g.)
