Reaction Steps
A mixture of 7-[2-(2-formamidothiazol-4-yl)-2-propargyloxyiminoacetamido]-3-chloro-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 1.4 g.), conc. hydrochloric acid (1.4 ml.) and methanol (20 ml.) was treated in a similar manner to that of Example 51-(2) to give 7-[2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-propargyloxyiminoacetamido]-3-chloro-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid (syn isomer, 0.7 g.), yellowish white powder.
