The preparation is carried out by following substantially the procedures described in Example 1, Step C except that an equimolar amount of (+)-[(6,7-dichloro-2-cyclopentyl-2,3-dihydro-2-methyl-1-oxo-1-H-inden-5-yl)oxy]acetic acid is substituted for the (+)-(6,7-dichloro-2-cyclopentyl-2,3-dihydro-2-methyl-1-oxo-1H-inden-5-yl)acetic acid used in Example 1, Step C. There is thus obtained first the (+)-enantiomers of the diastereomers of [(6,7-dichloro-2-cyclopentyl-2,3-dihydro-2-methyl-1-oxo-1H-inden-5-yl)oxy]-acetyl chloride and then (+)-enantiomers of the diastereomers of [(6,7-dichloro-2-cyclopentyl-2,3-dihydro-2-methyl-1-oxo-1H-inden-5-yl)oxy]acetamide.
