Reaction Steps
To a solution of 11-(piperidin-4-yl)-5H,11H-pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzoxazepine (5.0 g; 0.010 mole in 75 ml DMF) and 10 g milled K2CO3 was added 2-fluorobenzyl chloride (3.18 g; 0.022 mole in 15 ml DMF). This was stirred at 85° C. for 1.5 hours.
