PROCEDURE

实验过程

A mixture of 12.0 g of the product of Example 11 and 62.0 ml of 2N sodium hydroxide is stirred for 45 minutes. The solution is neutralized with 3.6 ml of glacial acetic acid and diluted with 400 ml of ethanol. The solvent is concentrated in vacuo to a small volume. Then it is diluted again with ethanol with the separation of an oil. The solvent is decanted off, and the oil is triturated with fresh ethanol to produce a yellow solid. The solid is separated, washed with ethanol and ether, and dried at 70° C to yield 7.3 g of the product of the Example.
