To this inhibited epoxy diester-styrene mixture about 5.49 parts of NADIC methyl anhydride and about 0.048 part of 2,5-dimethyl-2,5 bis(benzoyl peroxy) hexane catalyst (sold by Wallace & Tiernan Inc. under the Tradename of Luperox 118) were added, as a final step, at 25° C, to provide the solventless epoxy-styrene impregnating resin. The viscosity of the epoxy-styrene impregnating resin was measured to be about 200 cps at 25° C.
