Reaction Steps

Crystalline allyloxyethyl sulfate (Na salt) from the preparation shown in example 2 was perfluoroalkylated using the procedure of example 7 and C8F17I to produce 2-(4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10,11,11,11-heptadecafluoroundec-2-enyloxy)ethyl hydrogen sulfate.
