Reaction Steps
In a manner similar to Example 3(b), 4-phenyl-piperidine hydrochloride was condensed with (R)-2-(4-fluoro-benzenesulfonylamino)-4-methyl-pentanoic acid to give the title compound, mp=163-165° C.
