Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 19 employing 3-amino-6-chloro-2-(3-methylbenzoyl)indole (Example 21) and valeryl chloride. m.p.: 124-126° C. 1H-NMR (CDCl3) δ: 10.02 (1H, br s), 8.40-8.18 (2H, m), 7.62-7.54 (2H, m), 7.47-7.42 (2H, m), 7.28 (1H, s), 7.09 (1H, d, J=8.8 Hz), 2.55-2.45 (5H, m), 1.82-1.68 (2H, m), 1.52-1.38 (2H, m), 0.98 (3H, t, J=7.0 Hz)
