A solution of 0.185 g (0.307 mmol) of 1-(1-t-butoxycarbonyl methyl-7-indolecarbonyl)-3-(R)-(4-(4-fluorophenyl)piperidinylmethyl)-4-(R)-(3-thienyl)pyrrolidine in 6 mL of CF3CO2H and 5 drops of H2O was stirred at rt for 1.5 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by chromatography (silica, CH2Cl2: ethyl acetate: NH3 (2M in MeOH), 10:10:1, then CH2Cl2: MeOH: NH3 (2M in MeOH) 100:8:4) to give the title compound.
