Reaction Steps
To 5-chloropyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde (50 mg, 0.276 mmol) in NMP was added 1-methylhomopiperazine (103 μL, 0.829 mmol). The mixture was heated in microwave for 10 minutes at 140° C. Dichloromethane and water were added, and the product extracted in dichloromethane. The organic layer was then washed with water and dried over Na2SO4 and concentrated under reduced pressure to yield 5-(4-methyl-1,4-diazepan-1-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carbaldehyde.
