The procedure described in Example 35 was followed, using 1.4 g of n-hexyl isocyanate, 3.0 g of 3-[4-(4-chlorobenzyl)piperazin-1-yl]propanethiol and 100 ml of methylene chloride, to give 2.7 g (51% of theory) of N-(n-hexyl)-S-{3-[4-(4-chlorobenzyl)piperazin-1-yl]propyl}thiocarbamate dihydrochloride as a white crystalline solid, M.p. 249°-252° C.
