Reaction Steps
To a solution of trans-tert-butyl 4-(5-chloro-1-(4-cyano-3-fluorophenyl)-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridin-4-yloxy)-3-methylpiperidine-1-carboxylate (200 mg, 0.433 mmol) in MeOH (1.0 mL) at room temperature was added hydrochloric acid (2.5 mL, 10.00 mmol, 4.0 M in dioxane). The reaction mixture was stirred for 30 min and then evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was co-evaporated with ethanol (2×) to give 198 mg of the title compound as an orange solid. This material was used in the next step without further purification. MS (ESI) 362 (M+H).
