Intermediate 77 (589 mg, 1.19 mmol) was dissolved in 20 ml THF and sodium hydroxide (1N aq solution) (2.38 ml, 2.38 mmol) was added. After stirring at RT for 2 h, HCl 1 N (2 ml) was added, solvents were evaporated and DCM was added. The organic layer was dried with Na2SO4, filtered and evaporated to dryness. The solid was triturated with diisopropyl ether and filtrated. 550 mg (yield: 96%) of crude product were obtained and used without further purification in the next step.
