To a solution of acetyl chloride (1.45 mmol) in DCM were added 5-[2,4-bis(benzyloxy)-5-chlorophenyl]-4-amino-N-ethylisoxazole-3-carboxamide (1.45 mmol, 700 mg) and TEA (1.74 mmol, 0.24 ml) dropwise. The mixture was stirred for 5 h, diluted with DCM and washed HCl 1N. The organic extract was dried and filtered. Solvents were removed under vacuo to give the crude residue that was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel.
