(S)-Ethyl 9-(2-methoxyphenyl)-8-oxo-2-(pyrrolidin-2-ylmethylamino)-8,9-dihydro-7H-purine-6-carboxylate. (S)-Ethyl 2-((1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrolidin-2-yl)methylamino)-9-(2-methoxyphenyl)-8-oxo-8,9-dihydro-7H-purine-6-carboxylate (0.352 g, 0.687 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (3 mL) and trifluoroacetic acid (1 mL) was added. The solution was stirred for two h and condensed under reduced pressure to afford the crude title compound (0.400 g, >100%). MS (ESI) m/z 413.1 [M+1]+.
