Reaction Steps

The amine obtained in Step C of Example 24 is dissolved in 16 ml of anhydrous dichloromethane and the mixture is cooled to 0° C. 2.5 ml (18 mmol) of triethylamine and 0.467 g (4.48 mmol) of cyclopropanecarboxylic acid chloride are slowly added to the medium. After 25 minutes of stirring under an argon atmosphere, the solution is acidified with a hydrochloric acid solution (1N); the aqueous phase is then extracted with dichloromethane. The organic phase, dried over magnesium sulphate and then filtered, is concentrated in vacuo. The title amide is obtained pure after passage over a silica column (eluant: MeOH/CH2Cl2: 2/98) in the form of a white solid.
