1.31 g of ethyl 6-[3-[4-(diphenylmethoxy)piperidino]propylamino][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazine-3-carboxylate was dissolved in 8 ml of ethanol; 8 ml of a 1 N aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide was added, followed by refluxing under heating for 3 hours. After cooling, the ethanol was distilled off; the residue was washed with ethyl acetate; 1 N hydrochloric acid was added to reach pH 5. The precipitated crystal was collected by filtration, washed with water and ethyl acetate, and dried, to yield 1.19 g of the title compound.
