To a solution of 2-bromothiophenol (13.5 g, Lancaster) in methanol (45 ml) was added dropwise 2-butyl-2-ethylaziridine (10.0 g, Synthetic Example 1(f)). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. Solvent was evaporated to afford the title product as a light yellow oil (25.6 g). 1H NMR consistent with the proposed structure.
