Reaction Steps

The title compound was prepared from methyl 4'-acetamidomethyl-2'-methylbiphenyl-4-carboxylate (D2) and 2,3-dihydro-6-(3-dimethylamino propyl)-5-ethoxy-1H-indole (D29) using a similar procedure to Example 1 (18%). The hydrochloride salt was obtained as a cream coloured solid mp 120°-123° C.
