Combine 1-[2-[3-(3,4-dichloro-phenyl)-1-(3,5-dimethoxy-4hydroxy-benzoyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl]-ethyl]-4-phenyl-piperidine-4-carboxylic acid amide (1 mmol) and sodium hydride (2 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (10 mL). Add diethylaminoethylchloride hydrochloride (1 mmol). After 24 hours, partition the the reaction mixture between water and ethyl acetate. Separate the organic layer, dry over MgSO4, filter, and evaporate in vacuo to give the title compound.
