Following General Procedure B, 1-benzyl-N-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-6-hydroxy-2-isopropyl-1H-indole-3-carboxamide (Compound 8, 7 mg, 0.016 mol) in pyridine (1 ml) was reacted with propionyl chloride (1.4 μl, 0.16 mmol) to yield the title compound (8 mg, 100%).
