Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure B, 1-benzyl-N-(3,4-difluorobenzyl)-6-hydroxy-2-isopropyl-1H-indole-3-carboxamide (Compound 8, 9 mg, 0.021 mol) in pyridine (1 ml) was reacted with isobutyryl chloride (4.1 μl, 0.21 mmol) to yield the title compound (8 mg, 80%).
